Session 1- Non-Dominant Instrument Workshop- Are you a bass player and needing a refresher on the cello? Violin player looking for that awesome bass setup? This session is meant for sharing ideas from setup to technique on a non-dominant instrument. 10:30-12:00 Session 2- Techniques for Making Sure Your Groups are as Polished as Possible- Preparing for Assessment. Judges share techniques on how they prepare their groups and what they have noticed while adjudicating assessments. --Lunch-- 1:00-2:30 Session 3- Improv Session- Learn some basic improv skills that will get your students improving on their instrument. No prior knowledge of improv needed. 2:30- 4:00 Session 4- Reading Session- From classics to new music, Let's read and discuss some music together. |
